As you surely pointed it out these last weeks on our forum, many people of you manifested themselves to express their desire to participate in Lan in February. That it is on Mw2 or GoW2, Xbox360 or PS3, Frenchman or European, least that it is possible to say it is that today, the request in Lan is strong and various.

As organizer, we have therefore work on plan from now on several months and very naturally we made contact with our partner whom you know perhaps, the Parisian network of cyber-coffees: Milk.


At first, idea was to organise Lan at the end of December, 2009 on Mw2 in partnership with Activision and Milk.
This partnership had to allow us to have a room free and as a result to offer a more important cash-prize while coming back into our expenses.


However, we had had to cancel this Lan for 2 major reasons: there were not "official" rules on Mw2 and we feared one very little participation on behalf of the players due to it.

Further to it, we have therefore try to move Lan in February, 2010, but since then, conditions fixed by Milk had changed and they did not allow us any more to organise Lan. (paid room)

We therefore contacted Milk to inform them that we could not make of Lan in February if conditions remained the same.

In reply to it, Milk offered us another room by promising to us to make the maximum for their part to get closer to conditions envisaged in December, 2009, notably for what was the unwarranted nature of the room.


However, by worries of precaution, we tried to re-contact Milk to confirm what seemed to us acquired, in optics to be able to announce Lan as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, our contact was on holiday and in its return, we had bad surprise to learn by mail that the room would not be free and that the price offered by Milk did not allow us to organise Lan who could answer your waitings.



That is why Alpha Arena will not organise Lan in February, 2010.

Do not see across this decision a lack of motivation of our part, on the contrary, but in these conditions (price of the room), we cannot satisfy current waitings of the players.
